The subject matter in this course is "directly and primarily related to" the NBCC Content Areas, Counseling Theory/Practice and the Counseling Relationship and Counselor Professional Identity and Practice Issues, which have been specified by the NBCC Continuing Education Provider Policy as acceptable content to qualify for NBCC continuing education credit. This course is approved for ACEP home study and offers 2 CE Hours.
This course is intended to be taken in conjunction with the course, Introduction to Telehealth. This Addendum is specific for health care professionals in the state of Florida and is designed to inform Florida health care professionals about Florida Statute 456.47 - Use of telehealth. It will also inform those professionals regulated by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling, about the Emergency Rule 64B4ER20-20 - Definition of “Face-to-Face Psychotherapy” that went into effect March 19, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
